Maths King Formula

This is a proof of Maths King Formula: STUDY = FAIL

STUDY = NO FAIL ...(1)

NO STUDY = FAIL ... (2)

Equation (1) + Equation (2):

STUDY + NO STUDY = NO FAIL + FAIL
STUDY + NO STUDY = FAIL + NO FAIL ... (Commutative Law)
STUDY(1 + NO) = FAIL(1 +NO) ... (Factorize "STUDY" and "FAIL")
STUDY = FAIL ... (Eliminate "1 + NO")

Hence, STUDY = FAIL. (Proved)

My personal experience:
Initially, I was not so believed this 'formula' is true during I was in secondary school and upper secondary. This is because I studied hard and scored quite well that time. However, this formula is a reality when I stepped into university. I continued my study method that I used previously even during this university life. Sadly, it doesn't work. Recently, I studied the learning module, practiced tutorials in it and paid attention to lecture but yet I failed one of the test. I cannot believed too much on the module too because there are many typing errors and silly mistakes. The thing I wonder the most is that is the facts included in the module are accurate or not. From my point of view, is that formula should be restricted as:

STUDY + TIPS = NO FAIL;

Can anyone give me his/her opinion regarding the 'formula' and this restriction?

My 21st Birthday

I turned to be 21-year-old 3 days ago (13 August 2008) but it was celebrated 1 day later due to some 'busi-ness' took place such as 'Majlis Penyampaian Anugerah Sijil Dekan' that took place in the morning and BEE2123 Test 1 in the evening on the same day '14 August'. So, I was busy studying and revising for the subject at night on my actual birthday. Initially, I thought that my birthday this year would be more boring and meaningless than last year. I had the most boring birthday last year because I only ate 'ta-pau' with 'taufu' as my dish last year. Then this year, my birthday fall on the midst of tests. At night, my 'good' friend advised me that "Alright, Kai Ming, don't worry. After the test will be your real birthday". Initially, I not so believed what he said was really happened.
Out of my expectation, it really happened after the test at night on 14 August 2008. Once after the test, I tried to call my friend to go KFC. It was unpredictable for me that there was really my birthday cake already being 'standby' there after I arrived at KFC Parit Raja. After eating there, they took out a nice fruit birthday cake. I was very satisfied and happy with the cake and the party. It was my third happiest birthday celebration throughout this 21 years. It left an unforgeable and sweet memory to me.

Thanks a lot to all my dear friends and buddies. As written on my 21st birthday cake
"Friends 4eva". Haha... ;D

Lost Contacts

It had been a week long since my handphone was taken to repair. All my friends' HP numbers are inside. I copied all the numbers in a booklet but I left it in Johor. I've to wait until when then only can get back my HP. I sense that there is only 10% it can be repaid and another 90% fail to be repaid.

Back to Hometown

It has been my third day in my hometown today (18 May 2008) after coming back from Sarawak trip. It left a sweet memory to me. From my point of view, it was also like a "Couple-Matching Trip" or "Friend-Making Trip" :D Initially, I only know my course-mates but later I got to know the other travelers from other courses as well. Nice to know them. ; )

Bad Day!!!

Why i'm having such a bad day those days? It started off with my car. A door at the passenger seat behind the passenger side cannot be opened and a bulb behind the car also spoiled already. Then, follow by my laptop spoil. The window starts off well as usual then appear blue screen then black screen and restart finally and this "process" run repeatedly and not able to access anything before the blue screen appear. Today, since I'm at Batu Pahat bus terminal, I decided to call my friend in order to assure that we'll come back to Johor from trip then i buy bus ticket back to my hometown two weeks later. Unfortunately, my handphone fail to make or receive any call due to 'No Network Coverage' kononya. Other than these electrical stuff, I saw my housemates leaving for their hometown one by one yesterday. It's okay for me but there was no water supply at my hostel for the whole day. Today, I thought I want to SMS my coursemates who are still staying there whether the water supply is back to normal or not but my handphone spoil. Haiz!!!! The main problem is I already run out of money to repair my car, laptop and handphone.

In summary, Car spoil -> Laptop spoil -> Handphone spoil -> No Water Supply.
What is life?

Waste too much time on C Programming

I hate C Programming. It causes me to give up Engineering Mathematics 2 Quiz 6. I lost marks because of C Programming. If there were only 9 C Programming Lab Report instead of 18 report, if there was no C Programming POPBL, i'll have more time to study other more important subjects such as Electric Technology, Thermodynamics, Hubungan Etnik, Technical Writing and Engineering Mathematics. I may score Mathematics course carry marks higher if there was less work to do for C Programming. Again, tonight I need to do C Programming Lab 9 report and again this coming Wednesday (2 April 08) will be "Computer Day". There will be Final POPBL Presentation in the morning while C Programming lecture and submit the weeekly report in the evening. After that, I need to pack up my things to go back to my hometown the next day. So, there will be no time for me to study other subjects. Actually, I love Maths, but I've no time to study and practice exercises because of C Programming. The last time I studied Maths was a day before Test 2. I miss Maths. Stupid, stupid, stupid C Programming.

Completed!!!

Hurray, the C Programming POPBL Report was completed on time finally. I burn the midnight oil to finish this lousy project final report. As a result, I didn't study for Engineering Mathematics 2 Quiz 6 held on study. I thought i'm the only one who focus to finish C Programming POPBL Final Report and didn't prepare for Maths Quiz, I only know that i'm the the only one but the whole class after Maths lecturer asked 'How many of you didn't study for our last Quiz?'. Then I observed that majority put up their hands. Haha. Then, he gave extra 20 minutes for us to study. After 20 mins, we began the quiz. That was the first time I dunno how to answer the quiz. So, i just wrote the answer according to the module and wait until he called 'Time's up'. Actually, I also dunno what I was writing. Haiz, sad,sad,sad. The first time I failed to answer Maths well and i gave up marks form quizes. What are the reasons? The reason is simple: C Programming POPBL Final Report. Why a credit 2 subject (Computer Programming) has more work to do than credit 3 subject (Enginnering Mathematics)? Why C Programming Test 2 was tougher to score than Engineering Mathematics? Which one is more important? Credit 2 subject (C Programming) or Credit 3 subject (Maths)? What is my major now? Computer Programming or Electrical Engineering? Why Credit 2 subject (C Programming) need more time than Credit 3 subject (Maths)? In other words, it is over time already. Stupid, stupid, stupid C Programming. I hope the syllybus and lesson plan of C Proramming should be reconsidered by the authority.

Bad Luck

Don't know why these few day I'm in such a bad luck. Two weeks before my car ran out of battery and didn't give any respond when i start it. then i wait two more day and my friend helped me to 'jam-start'. Fortunately, it was like back to life. Yesterday, I drove my car go to the main campus because lecture started at 10am and very hard to catch a van there because of they reckless van driver. My car that I used to drive it become unusual that it seems like no energy to run. Therefore, after I settled all assignments and C Programming project, i brought my car to the workshop at 3pm and my roommate fetched me home. the foreman said that the plugs and cables in the car were spoilt and need RM56 to replace them. Two hours later, I went back by taking 'Colour Plus' to the workshop, City Campus. Unfortunately, I waited at the bus stop for almost 1 hour and suddenly it began to rain heavily. Aiseh, I got wet. This was the first time I wait for the bus at bus stop and it rain so heavily. Finally, I got back my car and it operates as usual. Only then I thought of car also like human and need to seek for doctor when fall sick. It consume one meal (petrol) rated 10++ of my daily meal. strcmp (RM 40/petrol:RM 3 per meal)Hahaha.

A Hectic Day

Today is such a hectic day since i enter UTHM i have. It causes me to drive my own car in order for my own movement convenient. I'd to go to photocopy sem 1 results slip that needed to be submitted together with Tunku Scholarship to HEP. After that, i counted, sealed and submited evaluation on Amalan Kejuruteraan Elektrik lecturer to FKEE centre. Before these, i returned 5 thick books to library because tomorrow will be due date. Later in the evening, i've to present thermodynamics 10% assignment and i'm the first group to present. At night i plan to study and revise C Programming for Test 2 this coming Friday.

What am I studying now?

What am I studying now? Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering? Why I've to do more work (assignment, tutorial, POPBl) for C Programming subject than Electric Technology subject? C Programming is 2 credit hours while Electric Technology is 3 credit hours. Why a 2 credit hours subject is tougher than the 3 credit hour subject. At the same time, there no POPBL for Electric Technology. Why there are so many written reports are needed for C Programming? There are 18 reports all together including short and weekly report (2 reports for each chapters).

CNY 2008 Holiday

Chinese New Year 2008 was just around the corner when I went back to my hometown, Ipoh. It was a cold and peaceful dawn when i reached Medan Gopeng, Ipoh. Maybe because it was the first time i was still awake early in the morning or maybe i was homesick after leaving my hometown for about 1 month++. The first 4 days I was busy finishing a full list of assignments, exercises and tutorials that needed to be pass up after this 1 week holiday. Besides that, i also tried my best to revise as many as i can so that i'm prepare for 3 tests in the same week after this holiday. I thought about what is the point of only 1 week holiday was given since the holiday time was spent just for completing assignments and exercises rather than celebrating Chinese New Year. Why it can't be two weeks holiday as every Chinese knows that they were busy for reunion dinner and visiting relatives since they gathered all together during CNY as they usually busy in their study or work? In a nutshell, Chinese New Year 2008 was celebrately not as enjoyful as previous years.

My First Blog

My first blog was created in the Language Lab of Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), Batu Pahat, Johor during I attended Technical Writing lecture on 29 January 2008 (Tuesday) . The blog was introduced to me and my class by our Technical Writing lecturer, name En Azmi. He introduced the blog through e-learning of UTHM main website before we created the blog.After that, En Azmi also taught us how to created and edit template and add links to the first blog.
